About Us

Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center, Inc. was founded in 1992 by the late Marguerite Bush, with the help and support of parents, community leaders, and private foundations.

Clinton Hill Community and Early Childhood Center, Inc. is a service oriented agency, committed to the growth and development of the early learner. The core nature of our organization focuses on building a strong, solid foundation for children to learn the skills they need to succeed in the elementary years and beyond. From Conception to Kinder, your child and your family will get the very best of our care.

We believe children thrive best when they feel safe, secure, and confident. We maintain a low child to adult ratio and all our classrooms are staffed by Credentialed and Certified Teachers. Children are looped throughout their enrollment so they stay with the same (caregivers) Teachers until they reach a transition age. We use a play-based curriculum that encourages children to explore, investigate, and document their learning. Social-emotional development activities are embedded throughout the curriculum to help children develop healthy relationships with their peers, build self-confidence, and learn how to manage strong emotions.

Our commitment to quality extends to our families as well. We provide multiple pathways for families to be engaged, empowered, and included in our programs. From volunteering to advocacy to governance, we encourage moms, dads, grandmas, uncles, and more to be involved!
